The Hyperbaric Oxygenation Medical Center was opened in the late 1970's by  Robert Lombard, M.D.  As a general practitioner, he was always on the lookout for advances in medicine that he could bring to his patients. He was beloved by many, and was a member of the medical community for over 50 years. Until his retirement in 2000, he was the Medical Director of the hyperbaric center.

Connie Waltz, R.N., B.S.N., A.C.H.R.N., first trained with the venerable Richard Neubauer, M.D. before joining Dr. Lombard in 1978. She has been a fixture at the Center ever since, assuming the role of Director of Nursing in 2001.

Valerie Rhoads, L.P.N., joined the staff in 1993, and together, along with Medical Director Louis Neureuter, M.D., they form the core of the competent, caring, professional team.  They, and the patients, are supported  by technicians Jaimie and Meredith.

Combined, the staff has over 60 years of hyperbaric oxygenation experience.

Nancy, the behind the scenes gal, decorates the medical center for every holiday and often does "anonymous" favors for our patients.  We are truly like a family here, and our patients feel right at home.
